Reluctant traveler finds Europe's allure

Abstract:
It was around March that my best friend began to convince me to take a European vacation with her this summer.

I say "convince" because honestly, I'm not really big on traveling. I've been taking mandatory vacations to see my family in Italy ever since I was in the womb (no joke)....

Thanks for the vicarious trip to Europe. Wish I had the good judgment to go against my better judgment and done the same.

The bombardment of media has resulted in readers skimming, rather than reading. If more articles were this well written and interesting, people would find themselves reading again.

This is a great line - "where the blood of tyrants and royalty resounded through the old stone walls".

"When I returned to my life in Arizona, it was as if I had just woken up from some beautiful dream fading into my memory." Thank you for so perfectly putting into words exactly what I have felt before.

Very fun wrap up with that last sentence.
