A week removed from its 72-71 loss to Alabama-Birmingham, the Arizona men's basketball team was able to adjust to yet another hot 3-point shooting team.

The Wildcats (3-1) beat Santa Clara (1-4) on Tuesday in the fourth and final round of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tipoff, in Athens, Ga.

When members of the Arizona football team stroll through the corridor of McKale Center each week, whether it's to work out or to engage in team functions, they walk past the same sign.

In the midst of the players of the week pictures, the sign reads, "What have you done today to win the Pac-10?"

With only two games remaining on its schedule, Arizona can no longer win the conference, but it still has a shot at mixing things up in the Pac-10 race.

The SUU football team exchanged punches with No. 4 Northern Iowa in the first half, but The Panthers dominated the third quarter and won 34-24 in the T-Birds' final game of the season.

The T-Birds (4-7, 1-3 Great West) and Panthers (10-2, 7-1 Missouri Valley) battled to a 17-17 tie in the first half before UNI junior running back Derrick Law ran untouched up the middle for a 17-yard touchdown, capping off a nine-play, 80-yard drive to start the second half, and giving the Panthers a 24-17 lead.
